Provide programs and events suitable and engaging for all residents.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Design: Survey the community and create ongoing activities and programs tailored to the communitys wide range of ages and needs.
• Promote: Drive interest in the programs using a variety of methods such as newsletter, website, email blast and word of mouth
• Administer: Secure vendors and staff. Execute while working with onsite management, maintenance techs, and other providers. Debrief with all personnel after the event in an effort to improve and grown future events.
• Management of social media, monthly newsletters and websites: Seek out resident contributors and promote special interests and activities within the community.
• Duties as assigned

WORKSKILLS:

• Customer Service: Operate with a constant mindset of serving the residents with excellence.
• Communication: Express clear and concise written and verbal communication with district staff, residents, Vesta management and staff, and vendors.
• Organization: Maintain order and manage a special events budget, coordinate vendors, and staff.
• Leadership: Lead staff and vendors to a common goal.

EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have a minimum of 1 years experience in a similar field requiring similar event, customer service skills, and other responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Competent in Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Knowledge of Social Media Outlets (Facebook, Twitter)
• Current Drivers License
• Knowledge of Publisher
• Strong community engagement

EDUCATION: High School Diploma mandatory with a college degree preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must have the ability to lift 15lbs, drive a vehicle and work outside.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Climate controlled inside spaces as well as periodical exposure to outdoor elements.
