Kane’s Furniture is looking for a talented Delivery Trainer for our Pinellas Park, FL corporate office.
POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for the training of all Delivery Drivers/Helpers to include: Delivery Safety, proper handling of product, loading and delivery to clients, truck inspections, delivery paperwork, accident/injury reporting, fueling of vehicles and PSR. Performs Delivery Audits and Delivery Ride A longs. The main area of focus is to develop our new employees; as well as, tenured employees to be knowledgeable and productive members of our Delivery Team. Maintains all training files and metrics. Accountable for continuing education and attending courses or seminars related to driver safety practices and training.

Position Reports To: Senior Delivery Manager
Positions Supervised: Delivery Team Members
KEY DELIVERABLES
REPRESENTATIVE JOB FUNCTIONS
- Train all new employees to Kane’s delivery standards
- Train teams inside building to prep and load trucks
- Provide ongoing support to all delivery teams
- Conduct on the road training of all employees
- Perform monthly safety and topic training
- Teach all employees proper safety techniques
- Assist in hiring process and on boarding of new employees
- Complete training documents/Dispatch track
- Maintain all training documentation
- Provide feedback to management on employees
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
1. Assumes responsibility for the effective training of newly hired employees.
2. Assumes responsibility for the continued development of all Delivery team personnel.
3. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining good communication, coordination, and working relations with Kane’s personnel and management.
