A bachelor's degree in finance would be preferred but isn't required. Experience as a notary public would be a bonus! Proficiency with Foundation Software would also be a plus. WHAT TO EXPECT AS OUR CONTROLLER

As our Controller, you keep our company's books straight and well-organized. Working alongside our VP and payroll specialist, you oversee a wide variety of daily financial tasks and processes. You manage our payroll, taxes, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, making sure all functions are thoroughly and accurately completed. Not even the smallest of details get past you as you analyze and prepare important documentation such as audits, finance reports, financial statements, and general ledgers. You also perform regular account reconciliations to make sure that our finances are on track.

You're not satisfied with just sticking to the norm; you're always looking for areas where we could improve. You closely monitor our cash flows and identify ways we could increase our funds. Applying your extensive finance knowledge, you hire and train skilled accounting staff who bring something valuable to the team. You're also motivated to develop your own skills, so you participate in cross-training opportunities to learn more about accounting functions such as payroll. You take pride in the work you do and all you accomplish in this invaluable position!

WORK SCHEDULE FOR THE CONTROLLER

This position typically works 8- to 10-hour shifts, Monday - Friday.
