Position Overview
:
This position will be a strong support role. This role requires critical thinking, problem solving, and effective communication skills. This role lends support and works with several other departments and vendors. Organizational and self-motivational skills are necessary to maintain & manage the moving parts of internal processes. This is a great role for someone who can and is highly organized. The person in this role should have an ownership mindset and demonstrate a passion for satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities :
  • Data entry, compiles, validates data, prepares basic correspondence, forms and other documents as needed.
  • Assist team with creation and proper maintenance of consistent customer credit files
  • Track and report month-end close process by accurately recording and reporting all financial transactions in a timely manner
  • Ability to multi-task, handle unanticipated situations effectively, and work well under pressure with tight deadlines
  • A point of contact for vendors to coordinate with other colleagues and provide customer and company solutions
  • Develop plans to prevent, when possible future chargebacks
  • Research chargebacks and build dispute cases
  • Communicate issues with factories and negotiate to recover funds
  • Prepare accurate and appropriate responses to disputes
  • Performs required processing of customer inquiries, both internal and external
  • Communicates issues related to the daily operations
  • Process and organize request effectively with other departments
  • Scheduling and organizing conference meetings and proactively preparing meeting materials in advance
  • Maintain monthly and weekly reports
  • Monitor activity with vendors to ensure compliance with company guidelines
  • Perform day-to day activities that ensure effective management of assigned tasks
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Follow company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Job Requirements :
    • A High School diploma is required
    • 0 – 2 years of bookkeeping or banking experience preferred
    • Experience with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Access. Ability to work with large volumes of data.
    • Experience with Visa/Mastercard Operating Regulations
    • Regulations E Compliance
    • Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization
    • Demonstrate the ability to work as a team as well as self-directed
    • Strong planning and organizational skills
    • Strong understanding of reconciliation concepts with a commitment to accuracy and completeness of financial data.
    • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload to complete assignments
    • Research and resolution management
    • Consistently demonstrates good judgment, strong character and personality, ethics, and high standards of performance
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Good interpersonal skills working with internal and external customers
    • The ability to work with demanding deadlines
    • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multi-task
    • Professional appearance and demeanor
    • Able to work flexible hours
    • English/Spanish speaking is a plus

Physical Requirements
:
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 15 lbs.
