The convenience of having your milk, eggs, and other amazing products delivered directly to your doorstep year-round is a dream come true! But….we need your help! YES… We need you! South Mountain Creamery has an immediate opening on our trucking team to haul milk from our farm to one of our two milk plants in Maryland and PA.
Qualifications:
- Class A license with out any of the following restrictions: (E) Manual, (L,Z) Air Brakes, (G) Night Driving, (0) no semi Trailer or (K) intrastate only
- Must have (N) Tank Vehicles endorsement at time of hire
- 2 years tractor trailer experience in the last 5 years.
- Will be required to work some weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tractor trailer truck with a capacity of at least 80,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight ( GVW)
- Load milk using a milk hose and an electric motor
- After you are done loading the milk, you will deliver the milk to one of our dairy plants.
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect before and after trip
- Willingness to be polite to farmers and provide good quality service.
- Maintaining a drivers Log in accordance with DOT regulations
- Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
- Daily interactions team members
- Submitting BOL paperwork
- Other tasks as assigned.
