As a Burn Table Operator on our winning team in Chattanooga, TN a typical day might look like this:
- Operates machinery to burn/grind to specified dimensions.
- Follows all details of written communication to process orders for customer requirements.
- Abides by all safety rules and regulations and performs work safely
- maintains an accurate and efficient production level
- operates industrial equipment
- lifts and moves heavy material
- identifies materials by painted color codes
- stocks and pulls material off shelves
- inspects materials and makes detailed notes when applicable
- enters information into AS/400 system
- greets and assists customers in a courteous and helpful manner
- assists other warehouse employees
- cleans warehouse as time permits including sweeping, removing debris/garbage, etc.
- observes and implements policies and procedures
- performs maintenance on equipment as necessary or as directed
- completes other tasks as deemed necessary by management
- complies with all company policies and procedures, including equal employment opportunity and anti-harassment policies

- Great attitude and team player
- Ability to work assigned overtime, at times with short notice
- Successful completion of the Ramsay Corporation Combined Basic Skills Assessment which evaluates your reading, math, inspection & measurement, and process monitoring & problem-solving skills
- Ability to find, enter, and print information on a computer as necessary
- Ability to pass physical requirements exam for vision and hearing, as well as mobility and lifting requirements
