The Bay Supervisor leads a cultivation team in supporting general plant care through the entire life cycle. Monitors and cares for plants on a daily basis as they progress from clone transplanting until harvest.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads and evaluates daily operations of assigned cultivation team per management direction
  • Ensures, and performs, the compliant and efficient execution of all cultivation tasks including;
    • Clone care, transplanting, plant feeding, defoliation, topping, flushing, foliar and preventive spraying, waste disposal, crop inspection, and harvest preparation
    • Monitoring and recording environmental factors including humidity, temperature, and nutrient tank levels
    • Monitoring plants for pests, mildew, and mold
    • Mixing nutrient solutions for plant feeding and recording associated data
    • Performing water, media, solution sampling and testing
    • Maintaining daily activity records and operations logs for all activities
    • Maintaining a clean and sanitized work space by performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and organizing work areas
  • Evaluates and recommends improvements to cultivation processes
  • Assists management with the evaluation and development of SOP's
  • Assists with workforce and performance management including employee onboarding, training, mentoring, performance reviews, and performance improvement plans.
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 year of commercial cannabis cultivation experience
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
  • Must possess or obtain a Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) Employee Badge
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess data and make informed decisions
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Basic mathematic and metric measurement knowledge
  • Knowledge of METRC and Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) compliance regulations related to cannabis cultivation
  • Knowledge of cannabis cultivation nutrient requirements, planting mediums, lighting requirements, environmental requirements, soil growing methods, watering, container systems, hydroponics, temperature and humidity requirements, and drip irrigation
  • Knowledge of beneficial and detrimental bacteria, plant diseases, insects, fungi, and related methods to manage cultivation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency using Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office programs including Gmail, Calendar Docs, Slides, Sheets, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sitting and/or standing for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to sit, stand, stoop, stretch, walk, bend, twist, reach, perform repetitive motions, and carry boxes or items
  • Ability to safely use and store chemicals including pesticides, fungicides, cleaning agents, and nutrient concentrates following manufacturer’s recommendations and/or SOPs

COMPENSATION DETAILS:

  • Pay Range: $21.00 - $22.00; actual pay will be determined based on qualifications
  • Bonus Eligible
  • Accrue paid time off (PTO) immediately; starting at 2 weeks per year
  • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance plans are available

  • 401k and ROTH 401k plans
