The Job:
As an Associate Manager of Strategic Insights, you'll be part of our Insights team working as a virtual employee. You'll get to:

• Build and contribute to a foundational understanding of the Tools and Outdoor category, the Stanley Black & Decker (SBD) suite of brands, and the key global markets in which SBD competes.
• Lead acquisition and analysis of insights from different sources of data (e.g. primary research, industry reports, market size, customer reviews).
• Monitor category trends and competitive dynamics.
• Identify and drive business teams focus on promising growth opportunities.
• Leverage a suite of qualitative and quantitative tools to uncover consumer, product, and shopper insights.
• Regularly take part in in-context activities with consumers and shoppers to ensure holistic understanding.
• Consistently drive consumer and shopper needs into business decisions.
• Create and implement strategic learning plans to address critical business questions.
• Identify whitespaces, trends and opportunities for new sources of growth.
• Guide specific research development and execution using expertise in a wide variety of research methods.
• Identify digital tools to execute quick and cost-efficient research.

The Person:

• 2+ years of professional experience in Consumer or Market Insights and Analytics, Brand or Shopper Marketing, and/or Business Strategy
• Bachelor's Degree, MBA a plus
• Experience blending quantitative & qualitative learning for a clear story and action plan
• Proven ability to influence a diverse set of stakeholders, including external partner
