Job description

Staffmark is seeking motivated Assembler's to work at A.O. Smith, a premier employer and manufacturer in Johnson City.
Production Assembler will work in a fast-paced environment with the responsibility of performing tasks involved in the production
of Water Heaters in a safe and efficient manner.

No experience required!

Starting pay is $15.50/HR and goes to $18.36/HR after hire-on in 90 to 150 days!
1st shift is 5 AM to 2:30 PM
2nd shift is 3:30 PM to 1 AM
M-F schedule with the possibility of overtime on Saturday
40+ hours a week.

Job Responsibilities of Production Assembler:

  • Assemble components while inspecting for fit, form, and function per defined procedures
  • Machine operation
  • Learn multiple tasks related to the assigned production area
  • Use a variety of hand tools
  • Work quickly but mindfully with minimal errors/mistakes
  • Maintain a clean and safe production area
  • Other duties as assigned
  • 18+ years of age
  • To be able to lift 30 pounds
