About the Position:

The Yard Attendant is a very important role at our Cat Rental Power location in Tukwila, WA. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the efficiency and security of daily yard or branch activity. The position requires mechanical aptitude to safely demonstrate to customers how to operate equipment. The ability to work outside for long periods of time to clean, load and unload equipment for our customers will be essential to complete the needs of our customers. Accurate record keeping by managing all associated rental paperwork related to rental equipment, example conducting inspections of equipment in or out and tracking service intervals, is an essential function of this role to help our customers succeed.

Qualifications & Experience Needed:

• Basic knowledge of how equipment functions and operates
• Demonstrate the ability to start-up and safely operate equipment
• Possess a valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles
• At times a physically demanding job so an ability to lift up to 50lbs safely
• Ability to handle working in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
• Previous employment with customer service experience preferred
• Great communication skills
• A high school diploma or equivalent GED
• Forklift certification preferred or will train
