Job description

Summary Performs operations on welding cell and repair welds parts as needed. Set up the weld cell for multiple products. Programming welding paths and processes on the weld cell. Identify bad welds and can fix via programming while running the cell to prevent continued bad welds that will then need to be repair welded.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned. Repair welds at a rate set forth by the Production Engineer/Business Unit Manager; Assists with other workstations as needed; Identifies and interprets weld symbols and weld print call outs on specific components in assigned area. Understand manufacturing/part labelling both for inventory and creating, use of scanner tool, hilo experience nice, but not required, occasional hilo use will be needed for production and dock, dock experience appreciated but willing to train the right candidate.

Typical workday M - F 7a to 3p - Weekend and overtime as needed, but not consistent.

Education and/or Experience; High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports. Daily paperwork requirements. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Manufacturing software.
