WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR I - City of McCook is accepting applications for the position of Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator 1 in the Wastewater Department. Under the direction of the Utilities Director, duties will include assisting in the operation and maintenance of equipment used in the treatment of municipal wastewater and collection system. This job requires work outside during inclement weather conditions. 40-hour work week (conditional compressed work week from Memorial Day to Labor Day) with some on-call hours and some weekends. Will need to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal history check. A valid Nebraska driver's license required; will need to obtain a CDL with tanker endorsement and a State of Nebraska Class 2 Wastewater Operator License.
