Indy Equipment & Supply seeks to fill the position of a Warehouse / Yard Worker. If you meet the qualifications below please apply:

A Warehouse / Yard Worker is responsible for various functions including, but not limited to:

• Organize yard and warehouse according to Store Managers’ direction
• Keep shop clean, neat and orderly at all times
• Maintain appearance of main yard by keeping all equipment stored in yard in an orderly manner
• Locate/Inventory equipment, materials and supplies stored in yard and shop locations as directed
• Load and unload any deliveries or shipments in or out of yard

• Empty all trash receptacles from shop, lunchroom and yard into dumpsters on a daily basis

• Other duties as assigned

Aptitude/Abilities/Skills:

• HS Diploma or G.E.D
• CDL license preferred, but not necessary
• Must have knowledge of proper use of equipment
• Must be able to operate equipment such as motor vehicles, front-end loader, tow motor, bobcat, power washer
• Must operate equipment and perform job duties with safety rules in mind and abide by them
• Must be able to recollect where equipment/tools are so timely retrieval is possible
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally with co-workers and supervisor
• Position functions indoors and outdoors in all-weather elements
• Occasional overtime may be necessary during peak times
