Requirements

• Manage key operations metrics using data from computerized inventory program and reporting functions.
• Continuous Process Improvement, Training, Guiding and Mentoring related duties
• Assign, monitor & evaluate workflow of the department, including communicating work assignments.
• Develops optimal works schedules to ensure the needs of the customer are met.
• Responsible for development/monitoring of KPI's & implementing continuous improvement opportunities.
• Implement cost savings though LEAN processes and Kaizen events
• Train new hires & existing employees, including the enforcement of safety procedures in accordance with company policies & procedures.
• Works within budgetary/financial objectives set by manager
• Conduct meetings with staff to assess group's overall status; discuss ideas for improvement and inform staff of new developments.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule including outside normal business hours and after hours on call rotation.
• Key customer point of contact in communication with CBPS Area Manager on issue identification and resolution.
• Other assigned duties as requested.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required. Degrees are in Supply Chain, Business Management, Accounting and Finance or other business disciplines preferred.
• 7+ years’ experience in Warehouse management ; Six Sigma experience preferred
• Strong background in problem solving in a dynamic team environment
• Requires knowledge of materials distribution and/or logistics processes, methods, and skills related to inventory management.
• Previous experience with executive reporting/metrics required
• Cold Chain Experience: Experience with cold chain processes and logistics management for perishable products (non-food) that need below-zero temperatures to maintain quality and safety from end to end. Performing and oversite to ensure all tasks to prepare, store, ship (domestic and international), and transport products locally in the cold supply chain are completed accurately and on time.

Physical Demands

• May occasionally lift and/or move of up to 50 lbs., repetitive motion, walking, or operating equipment.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
