JOB PURPOSE:

Warehouse Pick Lead is responsible for providing direction, training, and oversight to employees pulling and staging of orders for delivery with extreme accuracy, unloading and loading inbound and outbound shipments. Ensuring specifications, quality and quantity of orders are correct. Provide support to the Warehouse Manager for ongoing projects and daily tasks.

DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Operate: -Stand up Electric lift -Sit down Propane lift -Scan Gun

-WMS desktop program -Stretch Wrapper

• Pick orders with extreme accuracy.
• Assign orders to pickers and track completeness.
• Stage orders, load and unload trucks
• Assist with replenishing case pick bins.
• Pick orders safely and efficiently.

· Maintain FEFO of product.

• Assist with inventory count and control.
• Monitor quality of inbound and outbound pallets
• Sweep out warehouse.
• Manage trash containers.
• Uphold a safe work environment for yourself and others.
• Knowledge of forklift safety rules
• Oversee Personal Qualification Sheets for Warehouse Assistants
• Report needed repairs.
• Ensure warehouse operates according to company policies and procedures.
• Report human and food safety hazards
• Responsibility to identify and communicate food safety and/or product integrity issues to appropriate personnel.

· Provide a high level of service to Veracity customers.

• Be available to help in other departments when asked upon by your manager.
• Regular, predictable attendance is required and is an essential function of the position.
• All other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required).

· Education: High school diploma/GED required.

· Experience: Two years prior experience working in shipping, receiving and case picking is requested, but not required. Prior forklift experience desired. Ability to successfully obtain a forklift certification through Veracity required.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or other related software

· Willing to work in a team environment and contribute to group goals.

· Basic math skills including addition and subtraction.

· Ability to multi-task.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
