Planned Systems International is seeking a candidate for a local IT services project. This project will support Army Network Enterprise Center with AV/VTC, Desktop support services. Candidate will be directly responsible for initiating, hosting, and troubleshooting audio bridge, MS Teams and SVTC meetings for U.S. Army Installation Management Command HQ Commander and Staff. Candidate will be responsible for the troubleshooting, automation deployment, configuration, and maintenance of the Windows Platform, PC’s, laptops, peripherals (printers, fax, phone, wireless, audio-visual equipment, video teleconferencing, LCD TV’s/monitors, and associated software. This is a critical and large environment requiring top-notch skills and customer support. Candidate needs to be comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced professional military environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain mission specific SBU and SVTC services as required. This includes VTC service in classrooms, transportable, command and control, conference room, briefing rooms, collaboration suites, and desktops. Provide design, installation advice, and technical support for VTC studio suite equipment.
  • Knowledgeable with VTC protocol capabilities are required
  • Provide Video Teleconference support as needed for conferences and customer projects; establish connectivity for VTC session and operate equipment as required by customer.
  • Provide mission user local touch labor (troubleshooting, repairing, etc.)
  • Support the VTC as a managed network device on the classified network.
  • Provide technical support and assistance in the design, acquisition, installation, and operation of the equipment to limited user population (to Brigade level at PPP/PSP and installations supporting two (2) or more non-tactical Command HQs).
  • Operate the SVTC capability on a highly restricted basis, in support of extremely critical collaborative efforts involving O-6 Commanders and higher personnel, either locally or as part of the interconnected collaboration event.
  • Setup video/audio conferences coordinate video conference among various agencies
  • Setup and support at off-site locations, as determined, twice monthly.
  • Provide immediate desktop support for IMCOM Commander and staff.
  • Escalate and communicate IT issues to IMCOM G6 for fastest resolution possible for IMCOM Commander and Staff.
  • Coordinate and assist IMCOM Command Staff IMO (G6) with all NIPR/SIPR VTCs for IMCOM Commander and Staff.
  • Coordinate and assist IMOCM Command Staff IMO (G6) with all Army 365 Teams Meetings for IMCOM Commander and Staff.
  • Troubleshoot any communication issues with outlying stations to insure solid COMS for IMCOM Commander and Staff.
  • Anticipate IMCOM Leaderships IT needs and provide proactive service when possible.

Skills/Qualifications Required:

  • Knowledge of and ability to communicate VTC support concepts to technical and nontechnical personnel; ability to develop technical documents and produce system design documentation.

Education/Experience Required:

  • Experience with the most common VTC equipment such as Polycom or Tandberg.
  • Experience with NIPRNET and SIPRNET connection process and accreditation.

Certifications Required:

  • CompTIA Security+ or IAT Level II baseline certification required.
  • Computer Environment Certificate in Windows 10 is required.

Clearance Required:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Clearance IT-I, Active Secret
  • Background Investigation Required: T5
