NOVO Health Services is the only “one stop shop” service provider in U.S. currently serving all healthcare-related end markets with both Healthcare Laundry Services as well as Sterilized Reusable Surgical Solutions.

We are currently looking for a Vice President Finance in the DuBois, PA or Atlanta, GA area.

This position has the potential to be remote with approximately 25% travel anticipated.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated VP of Finance who will be responsible for developing and directing the company’s analytical, financial plans and policies. The VP of Finance will also report on metrics to optimize our growth by understanding where efficiencies exist to maximize scalability throughout the year.

VP of Finance responsibilities include overseeing accounting operations, gathering and analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports.

Ultimately, you will work directly with the Executive Leadership Team to ensure our operations remain on track to hit our target goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Prepare timely and accurate analyses, summaries, and reports of financial data on the operating progress of the company

· Create a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting structure that includes a minimum cash threshold to meet operational needs

· Routinely review revenue cycle metrics to identify and address issues affecting overall performance proactively

· Manage the company’s compliance with local and federal regulatory matters

· Partner with senior leaders to ensure the company hits revenue targets

· Financial Reporting and Consolidation: Oversee and review for accuracy/reasonableness the consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end actual results and variance explanations, maintaining the integrity of the financial records. Ensure that financial results are reported to Corporate Reporting in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

· Identify areas for improved financial performance.

· Perform other duties as requested by the CFO.

Skills and Abilities

· Proven work experience as a VP Finance or similar role

· In-depth knowledge of financial benchmarking, accounting, audit and tax compliance and other regulatory matters

· Adept in fiscal management principles and processes, including resource management and needs assessment

· Partner with Chief Financial Officer to establish and track revenue goals

· Possesses critical knowledge of federal and multiple state tax laws as well as basic accounting issues

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in the areas of Accounting/Finance, including 8-10 years of supervisory/management experience and operations support.
  • Must have solid working knowledge of general accepted accounting principles.
  • There is considerable contact with a variety of financial and operating personnel at various levels in other Divisions and Corporate, and as a result a high degree of human relations and communication’s skill is required.
  • Must have an excellent understanding of internal controls and audit concepts to ensure deficiencies in internal controls are highlighted appropriately and audit questions are anticipated accordingly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate Degree MBA in Accounting or Finance preferred. CPA or CMA is preferred.
  • Problem Solving – Required the ability to understand, discuss, and direct others in a variety of complete technical accounting and business situations.
  • Requires an understanding of the related functions both within the Division and the rest of the Corporation. This includes evaluating results and making recommendations for improvement. It also includes planning for constant change within the Division.
  • Creativity and the ability to work in an ambiguous and unstructured environment are necessary skills.
