Job Description
The Virtual Assistant is responsible for serving and working alongside Hey Girl Friday Clients. This person loves helping other people and empowering them to perform at their best.

The most important aspect of this role is the relationship with the Client. We seek ways to improve their systems, providing feedback along the way. These relationships are professional with a personal touch, intentionally providing support while executing tasks and responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities

Job Summary
You are responsible for providing support to Clients assigned to me by Hey Girl Friday. Support may include and is not limited to:

● Organization
● Inbox Management
● Maintain Client’s appointments + calendar
● Create structure / workflow / processes
● Scheduling
● Sales
● Partner + Vendor Communications
● Quickbooks Organization + Management
● Booking Travel
● Research + Development
● Personal Tasks

Without your role, Hey Girl Friday would be limited in the number of Clients they can support and fewer Clients would benefit from Hey Girl Friday’s services.

Management + Execution of Tasks
● You are responsible for managing and executing the tasks requested by the Client

Innovation
● Identify what may not be working for the Client and create + suggest new workflows
● Anticipate the Client’s needs, always work to be ahead of the Client

Communication
● Establish and maintain an open + honest line of communication with everyone at HeyGirl Friday as well as your Client/s

Timeliness

● Complete your work in an efficient + professional manner

Requirements - Please note this is a remote position
● Bachelor's Degree and experience working remotely preferred
● Available daily (Mon-Fri) during business hours in your respective timezone, and able to dedicate at least 5 hours/week (1 hour/day)
● Experience in an administrative support role
● Thorough understanding of G Suite + Microsoft Teams
● In-home office setup including Mac or PC Computer (with webcam) with the most recent version of MS Office installed (all programs; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
● A fast and reliable internet connection
● Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities
● Excellent written and verbal communication
● A presentable home office where you can take video calls

Preferred experience in the following areas (1 or many):

  • Creating and implementing systems and processes
  • Marketing
  • Project Management
  • Social Media Management (Content Creation, Content Calendar, etc.)

Working Setup
The team member must have a Home Office with reliable devices (computer and cellphone).

Hours
Your working hours are completely dependent upon your commitment to your Client. Hey Girl Friday operates in hourly, weekly blocks of “5” Monday-Friday. A 5 hour commitment means 1 hour/day, a 10 hour commitment means 2 hours/day and so on. If you have fulfilled your work during your allotted time, we ask you remain available to your client during the committed time slot should they need anything from you. Most importantly, we ask you to be responsible for the results and responsibilities of your position.
