THE Cat Hospital is a CAT only, single doctor practice located in Marina del Rey. We need another Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are looking for a candidate that can multi-task and keep our Treatment area running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years in the veterinary field. R.V.T.'s encouraged to apply. Customer service skills are a MUST!
Our current schedule is Monday/Tues/Wednesday/Friday. We are closed on Thursday, Sat/Sunday. Normal day is 8am-4pm or 8:30am-4pm. The practice closes at 4pm.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Assisting doctor with procedures, venipuncture, preparing animals for surgery, monitoring animals during surgery, nursing care for hospitalized animals, record keeping, grooming, general hospital cleaning and re-stocking, cleaning & autoclaving instruments, filling prescriptions and client interaction and education. Experience in dental prophylaxis a plus!
