We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team and provide support to our veterinarians and technicians. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance with animal care, including restraining, taking vitals, and administering medications. They will also be responsible for cleaning and sterilizing equipment, preparing exam rooms, and helping to maintain medical records. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the veterinarian in providing medical care to animals.
• Monitor animal health and behavior.
• Provide basic care for all kinds of animals, such as feeding, taking vitals and proper restraint .
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for animals.
• Administer medications as directed by the veterinarian.
• Assist in the collection of specimens for laboratory testing.
• Educate pet owners on proper animal care and behavior.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
