The Processing Utility provides Mars Petcare with the knowledge and skills to effectively and safely-batch/mix raw materials to high-quality products; efficiently receive, test, analyze, and process raw

ingredients.

What are we looking for?

High School diploma or equivalent plus 1-2 years experience (manufacturing environment preferred).

• Good basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Basic knowledge of personal computers.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good housekeeping skills and knowledge of GMP's.
• Ability and willingness to develop and manage self, demonstrate self-directed workgroup leadership, and contribute to efficiency, quality, and cost optimization with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. ·
• Ability to operate a forklift in a safe manner.
• Ability to work rotating shifts under stressful conditions such as heat and cold
• Ability to work forced OT as needed

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Sampling of all incoming raw materials
• Visually inspect incoming commodities and take appropriate action on issues such as infestation, pests,
• mold, or any other quality issue
• Perform required quality testing
• FOSS Analyzer and lab equipment operation
• Receiving and Quality systems database interfacing
• Ensure adherence to all site food safety and security practices
• Actively address food safety and quality concerns.
• Unloading of all incoming raw materials
• Meet cut-off and tones requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment that promotes associate safety and product integrity
• Improve operations through individual and group problem solving
• Other duties as assigned
