This position earns a competitive wage of $22.00 - $27.00/hour, depending on experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN UNDERGROUND UTILITY LOCATOR
As an Underground Utility Locator, you are vital to the successful completion of our pipeline construction projects! Using a variety of equipment, you safely find and identify underground utilities such as telecommunications, electrical, cable, gas, water, and sewer systems. You then mark the locations of these utilities, ensuring your notes are accurate and precise. With your company-provided laptop, you diligently document these utility locations and close any work tickets. You take pride in providing this essential service for your team and helping us avoid excavation disasters!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN UNDERGROUND UTILITY LOCATOR
- Ability to use various locating equipment
- Proficiency with Geographic Information System (GIS) software
- Valid driver's license
