Job description
GMS is currently looking to add several Skilled Miners to our Special Projects Division. We're considering candidates with all types of underground mining experience. Pay will start at the listed rate, but could be more based on relevant industry knowledge and experience.
To gain consideration, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to take and pass a company preemployment drug test and background check
- Must be willing to travel as needed
- Preferably candidates will be local to the Morgantown, WV/Southwest PA Region
To gain consideration for these positions, underground mining experience is required. We're most interested in the below skill sets:
- Longwall experience
- Shotcrete Concrete
- Glue/Grout Injection
- Belt Drive Installs
- Welding/Fabrication
- Jackleg
- Drilling/Bolting
