Located near the Milwaukee General Mitchell Airport, in Cudahy, Jeff’s Fast Freight has proudly served the local freight forward and common carrier LTL service industry since 1984! The Customer Service Representative role provides the first point of customer contact for inquiries such as pricing, product information, shipments, and orders, and enter data from various sources into the computer system for storage, processing, and data management purposes.

Essential Job Functions:

• Build and maintain customer loyalty by providing prompt and friendly service.
• Manage incoming calls and emails from customers.
• Ensure delivery of excellent customer service through timely and accurate processing of orders, communication, and coordination to resolve inquiries.
• Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry.
• Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives, and follow-up to ensure resolution.

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt and respond to different types of situations and personalities.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures.
• High school diploma.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position Monday through Friday with an 8am start time. Work schedules may vary due to business demand, and can range from roughly 6.5 to 10.5 hour shifts. Overtime after 40 hours per week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
