Job Summary:

We are searching for a part time (30 hours per week) Transportation Assistant Coordinator and part time driver as needed. The Transportation Assistant Coordinator will assist in tracking maintenance of vehicles. He/she will help DOT tracking and submit to Director of Facilities and Transportation. He/she will work collaboratively with programs to ensure efficient transportation services during program operation.

The hours are from Monday through Friday, 6:30 - 9:30am and 1:30 - 4:30pm split shift.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Schedule vehicle maintenance at all sites. Track maintenance for reporting DOT monthly
• Back up Driver at all sites
• Maintain CPR and First Aide Certificate
• All around backup for any duties that may arise at any of the sites in the event the Transportation assistant Coordinator in unavailable
• Must apply for 7D Operators Driver’s License with 30 days of hire and maintain a valid Class D operator’s license with a good driver record
• Spot check vehicles inspections for pre-trips/post trip sheets and overall cleanliness

Education and Experience:

• Experience fleet maintenance preferred, must possess an ability to work with others as part of a team and communicate effectively.
• We are seeking a dependable, conscientious driver with a clean driving record and good communication skills in the Fall River area.
• Applicants must have a proven record of vehicle safety and must provide safe and courteous transportation for our program participants utilizing the agency's fleet of vans.
