Transfer Driver Primary Responsibilities:

• Fill in receipt and intake paperwork
• Transport U-Haul equipment between centers and repair shop
• Perform visual inspections of equipment
• Maintain a driver log

Transfer Driver Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License
• DOT Certification—can be sponsored by U-Haul

Work Environment:
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands:
The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.

How to attend

The fleet maintenance building is located directly behind the U-Haul facility. Park where ever there is a spot open and head in through the main door. This will lead you through the shop and the office is located through the door on your left. The office is the second door on the left across the bathrooms.
