American International Medical Training Academy (AIM Training), a premier provider of life support medical education for frontline healthcare providers in the Kingdom of Morocco is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Training Coordinator. Relocation to Casablanca, Morocco is required.

AIM Training has recently opened a state-of-the-art life support education and simulation center in Casablanca, Morocco. Simulation spaces include an immersive classroom, hospital and ambulance simulation spaces. This well-funded program has new instructional technology, including iSimulate simulators, Laerdal manikins and American EMS equipment.

The AIM Training Coordinator is responsible for organizing and delivering first aid, life support, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS) courses. Job duties include scheduling classes, teaching, maintaining registration records, recommending training equipment, confirming student payments, ensuring accreditation requirements from the National Association of EMTs (NAEMT) and American Heart Association (AHA), and performing quality improvement.

The training coordinator also helps recruit, train, develop and mentor local Moroccan physician, nurse and paramedic instructors.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Cultural humility
  • Strong interpersonal communication, facilitation, organizational leadership, and conflict resolution skills
  • United States National EMS Certification (Paramedic), RN, PA or MD with at least 5 years of active field experience.
  • Teaching experience with NAEMT or AHA programs.
  • Current certification as an instructor for at least one of the following: PHTLS, AMLS, TECC, BLS-Heartsaver or ACLS.
  • Willingness to obtain or renew additional instructor certifications from NAEMT and AHA as needed.
  • Ability to relocate to Casablanca, Morocco for 2-6 month periods and travel in the region if needed.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Native fluency in French or Arabic.
  • Experience as a US EMS training program affiliate faculty or program coordinator/director.
  • Experience using simulation and technology to provide realistic hands-on education.
  • International travel experience.

Relocation to Casablanca, Morocco is required. All work-related travel to and from Morocco is paid by the employer. All work-related travel, transportation, room and board in the Kingdom of Morocco is paid by the employer.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
