This is a casual, long-term temporary position through 06/30/24 with great opportunity for a permanent role.

Seeking a motived, eager, candidate with ambulatory clinic and EMR experience to work as an Epic EMR Credentialed Trainer. Ideal candidate would have experience in specialty clinic workflows and would has served/worked as an Epic super user. This position will partner with our existing EMR Principal Trainer to provide input into curriculums, training needs, and content. The Credentialed Trainer will report to operations but maintain a close working relationship with the CIS team, leaders, providers, and staff. This exciting opportunity is slated to have positive impacts on organizational goals such as Patient Experience, Employee, and Physician Engagement, and identifying EMR best practice workflows for Ambulatory Visits . Main tasks will consist of rounding regularly in clinical areas, identifying training gaps, recommending/providing input to the leadership team and Principal Trainer on where to focus training efforts, and developing/maintaining training materials. This position is a casual 18 months assignment that will be on an intentional trajectory to be converted to permanent once proven to be a valuable and successful role.

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
The Credentialed Trainer (CT) integrates systems knowledge, adult learning practices, and education delivery to non-clinical and clinical support staff within the health system. The CT is responsible for ensuring users of our Electronic Medical Record System (EMR) and other technologies are professionally trained and supported. The CT will work collaboratively with the Clinical Informatics Team, EMR training team, Education Teams, and Clinical/Non-Clinical Operations Teams in the development of coursework and educational programs for employee development. The CT is primarily responsible for proactively identifying opportunities to improve efficiency/productivity with EMR workflows through rounding/meeting with teams/reviewing tickets to identify training gaps, and brining recommendations for initial and ongoing/refresher training to
leadership and the training team. The CT works closely with the Clinical EMR Trainer to provide input on curriculum and training environment build/maintenance, and delivering approved coursework and educational programs. Additionally, the CT emphasizes the importance of workflows, proper protocols for data entry, and documentation within the EMR system, to ensure clinicians/physicians understand these needs as a part of high quality and cost-effective health care delivery. The CT is expected to display a personal passion for educating others by creating an engaging learning environment to enhance the end user learning experience through creativity, enthusiasm, and high energy. An ideal candidate will have experience creating and implementing classroom training, understanding key workflows, supporting providers and clinical staff in a health
care setting, and effectively communicating/providing education/information to individuals and teams in group settings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's Degree
3 Years of Experience
Must achieve EMR Credentialed Trainer status within 12 weeks (about 3 months) of hire
5 years of clinical experience can be considered in lieu of Associate Degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree
5 Years of Experience
RN, LVN, MA or other clinician experience

The expected hiring range for this position is $29.49 to $44.23.
