Prepare extrusion setup packages for the extrusion department. Keeping all tooling ready for production.
Disassemble, clean, and assemble extrusion tooling as assigned.
Disassemble, clean, and assemble Con-Air and Matsui Dryers as assigned.
Maintain consumable supplies in good working order i.e. (Thermocouples, Heaters, Hoses, and Hardware etc.).
Prepare extrusion job checklist.
Demonstrate a sound working knowledge of dies and related equipment.
Communicate any tooling issues to the Tool & Die Building Supervisor or Manufacturing Supervisor immediately.
Ensure cold zones are sent out for coating as the Teflon wears.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Minor maintenance of support equipment: Xaloy die cleaner.
Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Mechanical experience
- Ability to work with hand tools

“The hourly pay range for this position is $20 - $26. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.”
