All of our Therapists are Licensed and/or Credentialed in the State of Louisiana with the State Board of Social Work Examiners and the Louisiana State Board of Licensed Professional Counselors. The primary role of the Outpatient Counselor/ Therapist is to provide Counseling to Adults, Children, and Adolescents in the Greater New Orleans Area. The position requires work in the office, home, school, and community settings. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 yrs experience with Adults and Children with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) and hold the LMSW, CSW, or PLPC Credential or be a Psychology Intern at an APA approved school. Work experience in non traditional treatment settings is a plus. (jail, home, schools, hospitals, etc.). In addition, Candidates with training in Cognitive Behavioral Interventions, Motivational Interviewing, Crisis Intervention, and Trauma Informed Care are preferred. A valid Drivers License with state minimum auto insurance and transportation are required. The candidate must be professional, reliable, a team player, and self motivated. Travel throughout Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines and St. Bernard may be required.

Full and Part time positions are available. Full Time positions are salaried (range between $55,000-$60,000) and include the following benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision, Paid time off, Free Professional Continuing Education Units, Training in Evidenced Based Practices, Social Work supervision towards Licensure, Social Work License Exam prep and practice tests

Part time positions (range between $35-$40/hour) also include a flexible schedule, Professional Continuing Education, Social Work supervision towards Licensure, as well as Social Work License Exam prep and practice tests.
