Applegreen - New Jersey South Travel PlazasTemporary Seasonal Recruiter - Remote (Must live in NJ, NY, or PA) - Must be available to travel to the corporate office located in Glen Rock, NJ 1-2 times a month
Competitive Pay - $25.00 per hour
Hiring Immediately - This is a six month temporary position starting in March and ending in September

As a Temporary Seasonal Recruiter:
- Source and attract candidates by using social media, applicant tracking system, cold calling
- Screen candidates resumes and job applications
- Conduct interviews and filter candidates to fill open positions
- Provide recruiting updates to the field team on a weekly basis
- Act as a point of contact and build candidate relationships during the talent selection process
- Promote brand awareness acting as a brand ambassador for Applegreen with every candidate interaction
- Proven work experience as a Recruiter either in a high volume in house environment or a staffing agency required
- Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews
- Hands on experience with various selections processes - video interviewing, phone interviewing, and group onsite environment interviewing
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and Social Media Platforms
- Experience utilizing microsoft excel required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet hiring deadlines as provided
In 2021, Applegreen has been awarded a 33-year lease for the design, construction, financing, operation, and maintenance of the 27 motorway service areas on the New York State Thruway with the first sites became operational in July. In July 2021 Applegreen also completed the acquisition of 60 travel plazas from HMS Host.
