OneLocal Bank is currently seeking part-time and full-time Tellers to join our Foxboro, Plainville and Norfolk branches, primarily responsible for processing customer transactions and providing excellent customer service.
Teller Qualifications
- High School diploma; additional coursework or training a plus
- Minimum 6 months’ teller experience preferred; prior cash handling, customer service and/or sales experience a plus
- Comfortable and proficient with computers, technology, and Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Integrated Teller/Navigator and Business Process Manager a plus
- Must have reliable transportation to work at any branch location, if needed
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Must be fluent in English
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business, technology and professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions

Teller Job Responsibilities
- Process a variety of customer and bank transactions, including check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, money orders, bank checks, cash memos, balance cash drawer, and document batch totals
- Provide information and guidance to customers and answer questions about products and services both in-person and by phone in a professional and helpful manner
- Verify and process night deposit and commercial drop off bags
- Balance ATM, TCR, and coin machine daily, if applicable
- Accurately complete customer information in the Currency Transaction Report (CTR) for transactions greater than 10k dollars; complete SAR referral forms as needed
- Understand compliance and deposit regulations such as BSA/AML, Reg CC, Reg E, Reg DD, Check 21, Privacy Notice and the Patriot Act
- Assist and service coin customers and coin machine as needed; prepare and verify coin orders, if applicable
