Salary Range: $50,329.13 - $50,329.13

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

The candidates will participate in the collection and analysis of maternal/fetal/infant physiological and behavioral data in support of research on the effects of prenatal exposures to a variety of risk factors such as premature birth, and neurodevelopmental disorders or delays.

Responsibilities

Assisting with high density EEG studies, cross sensory associative learning paradigms, and developmental assessments of children.

Preparation, processing, entering, and analysis of data collected.

This position is for two Technician B hires.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology or physics or related science or equivalent in education, training and experience

Other Requirements

Must successfully complete all online systems training requirements

Prior research experience working with children

Experience with Eye Link 1000 plus equipment and relevant hardware/software

Experience with processing EEG data using MADE pipeline

Experience handling equipment to measure auditory function (OAE/ABR) in infants

Proficiency in using the following software applications: REDCap, MATLAB, and Excel

Bilingual and experienced in reading, writing and communicating in Spanish
