Position Summary

Aleut Federal is seeking a proactive, self-motivated individual to join our team as a Recruiter. This role will primarily support the Technology Group in the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing to placement. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing Aleut Federal’s pipeline of talent and will deliver top notch candidates for multiple position types.

Experience in technical recruiting within the Federal government contracting space and sourcing candidates with security clearances is highly desirable. Applicants with these skills will be given preference.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full end to end lifecycle recruitment process providing best in class recruiting support across all of Aleut Federal’s lines of business, primarily Technology.
  • Identify top talent through creative sourcing methods to include internet research, networking, employee referrals, advertisements, career events, other unique sourcing methods.
  • Track and deliver reportable recruiting metrics to share out to the business.
  • Maintain/update sourcing and candidate data within the company's applicant tracking system in partnership with HRBPs.
  • Develop job requisitions and support recruiting strategies across all of Aleut Federal’s lines of business.
  • Develop trust and partnership with external and internal candidates, hiring managers, and leadership.
  • Support business leaders and hiring teams to develop a deep understanding of current and future hiring needs.
  • Support offer approval, extension, negotiation, and closure with both the candidate and the hiring team.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Create and progress a solid recruitment database with potential candidates for hire across all lines of business.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three (3) to six (6) years of dynamic recruiting experience; government contract recruiting experience, including sourcing clearance roles is required, and/or ANC recruiting experience is a plus.
  • Ability to develop a large, diverse, and well qualified applicant pool using multiple angles of approach. Strong passive candidate sourcing skills a plus.
  • Demonstrated competence with Internet searches, research skills, and Boolean search strings.
  • Applicant tracking system experience required.
  • Self-motivation with a history of exceeding high-performance standards.
  • Ability to manage a dynamic requisition load.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to individuals at all levels.
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills.
  • The ability to work equally well in a collaborative team environment as well as independently.
  • Excellent negotiation and candidate closing skill.
  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
