The primary focus will be Building Systems integration/Low Voltage Business Development, Estimating, and preconstruction as the primary roles and responsibilities. Working closely with Hensel Phelps Construction Co. estimating/operations team. RCDD credential preferred. Office location will be from the Hensel Phelps Construction Co. Souther California Regional Office.

Salary Range: $125,000- $150,000

Position Description:

The Technology Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for constructability reviews, consultation, project management and coordinating with clients on technology projects and multi-discipline projects that include technology. The TPM is the subject matter expert with Division 27 and 28 low voltage systems to integrate technology scopes of work projects.


Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university; or four (4) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Possess a RCDD, CCNA, CCDA, RTPM certification or combination thereof.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Five (5) to ten (10) years industry experience coordinating technology projects.
  • Possess effective written and oral communications skills and be detail oriented.
  • Minimum of one (1) years’ experience in services, construction, maintenance and operations contracts.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university; or four (4) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Communicate issues effectively in written format.
  • Must be able to function as part of a high-performance team.
  • Working knowledge of facilities operations and building systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in mobile work environment.
  • Software proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Project, Word, SharePoint).
  • The ability to read, comprehend, understand and verbally communicate in English is required. Communication includes both verbal and written skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with other tradesmen as well as peers, supervisors, and customers.

Essential Duties:

  • Coordinate technology related designed and construction efforts to meet the company’s constructability, quality, financial and technical standards.
  • Work with technical and subject matter experts to support and prepare system documentation in accordance with company guidelines and philosophies.
  • Provide technical expertise related to design assist, installation network integration of complete and related system which includes, but is not limited to the following:
  • Structured Cabling, Pathways & Cable Tray (voice/data, racks/frames, cabling/cable management & connections, etc.)
  • Voice & Data Communications Systems (dictation, intercom, telephone, etc.)
  • Audio Visual Communication Systems
  • Electronic/Video Surveillance Systems
  • Electronic Monitoring & Control Systems
  • LAN/WAN and Wireless Systems (including IP systems integration
  • Nurse Call Systems
  • Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)
  • Building Automation Systems (BAS), Fire Alarm and other network systems.
  • Manage technology consulting process between company and clients/owners.
  • Budget management and staff projections related to projects.
  • Serve as a technology resource for the company.
  • Market Integrated Building Solutions services to procure projects.
  • Develop, test, and sell new technology concepts to clients/owners.
