Team Lead-Pontiac
We are a Supply Chain Management organization that delivers custom solutions tailored to meet the customer’s needs. Currently, we are seeking full-time (40 hours plus) Team Leaders to lead multiple team members and perform general labor duties in a warehouse environment.
Essential Job duties:
Essential duties include but are not limited to:
- Lead and assist multiple team members
- Packaging of individual units from bulk packs utilizing corrugated cartons, decorative cartons, poly bags, crates, shrink wrap and cold seal paper and poly
- Orient parts in packaging per instruction and use void fill to protect
- Use a hand jack to move materials on pallets
- Wrap pallets either by hand or machine
- Follow the instructions of a Supervisor or Work Order from a Bill of Materials computer screen
- Keep work area neat, clean, and organized
- Independent thinker and effective troubleshooter
- Focus on continuous improvement in safety, productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction
- Ensure effective communications are flowing between shifts
- Must be able to lead, instruct, and motivate others
- Must be flexible with the ability to work on numerous types of work orders in different areas of the plant
Physical requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to stand for the scheduled shift
- Walk long distances if required
- Lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
