Crystal Ridge Winery is a small, family owned winery in South Glastonbury seeking a dynamic individual to join their tasting room staff. The ideal candidate will be friendly and outgoing with the ability to operate well in a fast-paced environment. Prior wine knowledge is beneficial but not imperative as we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
-conduct wine tastings and serve wine by the glass
-host and educate guests on our wines and story
-retail sales
-manage POS transactions
-stocking wine bottles
-glass washing/stocking
-opening and closing duties
Skills:
-basic computer/iPad skills
-communication skills
-outgoing/friendly personality
-customer service skills
-ability to multitask
Requirements:
-must be 21 years of age or older
-able to work weekends
-ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
-must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
