TALENT ACQUISITION MANAGER - HYBRID / REMOTE
Job Summary : The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for leading, managing, and developing members of the Vista Care Recruitment Team. The Talent Acquisition Manager will lead, create and implement strategies and initiatives throughout all of Vista Care's divisions in order to identify, solicit, interview and hire the best talent. Simultaneously, the successful applicant will be responsible for hiring select positions in the organization, take accountability for all recruitment and related metrics, and ownership for the Vista Care recruitment strategy.
Reports To: This position will be reporting to the Director of Human Resources at Vista Care.
Location: This position will be remote. The successful applicant will be required to travel to Sheboygan, WI for a training period (1-2 weeks). This position will require travel to all Vista Care divisions/states approximately 10-15% of the time.
Leadership Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for leading a team of Talent Specialists based in Wisconsin and Illinois.
Job Responsibilities :
  • Serve as a Leader on Vista Care's Human Resources Team, ensuring overall priorities are aligned and in support of Vista Care's strategic plan and high-level initiatives.
  • Build a culture of excellence, developing clear objectives and accountabilities for the recruitment function across the Company.
  • Lead, develop, grow, and inspire a team of Vista Care Talent Specialists based throughout Vista Care's divisions/areas.
  • Build strong, credible relationships with senior leadership, hiring managers and operate as a trusted advisor and talent subject matter expert.
  • Identify and source top talent through multiple venues such as job beards, industry-specific sites, college and university campus job fairs, social media outlets, and through other proactive sourcing techniques.
  • Enhance candidate experience by creating and cultivating a streamlined process and leveraging technology.
  • Demonstrate proactive, creative sourcing and networking strategies to identify top candidates.
  • Drafts incentive plans for the organization (sign-on, referral, retention and other plans for the organization as needed to attract the highest quality talent based on trends).
  • Manage and perform full cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing and closing top talent while complying with all relevant federal, state and local laws.
  • Develop strong relationships with the company's organizational leaders, external professional organizations, and industry contacts to identify qualified leaders and professionals.
  • Strategize on driving recruitment actions to support culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Continuously monitor Recruitment and Onboarding Process, obtain feedback through surveys, and make appropriate enhancements.
  • Deep dive into the Company's applicant tracking system (Paycor Recruiting) and other tools to optimize the use of technology, reduce manual efforts, streamline processes and provide analytical reports.
  • Recommend and implement ways to improve the Vista Care employer brand.
  • Present and report key recruiting metrics weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
  • Serve as a business partner with hiring managers to develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies that result in organization and hiring manger satisfaction. Develop effective relationships within the organization and the hiring community have influence and impact the recruiting process and hiring.
  • Ensures a seamless onboarding process for all new hires with the organization; ensure that all new hires and related information are entered timely and accurately in all Vista Care systems.
  • Ensure all employee files are continuously kept up-to-date and have all of the required new hire paperwork contained within them in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Address any audits that come up and ensure 100% compliance with all background check requirements across all states/jurisdictions.
  • Conduct organization-wide presentations and training.
  • Develop processes and procedures for the Recruitment Team and for the organization.
  • Develop and implement creative and innovative sourcing strategies and techniques to build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Analyze Talent Acquisition trends and metrics and develops solutions, programs and policies.
  • Creates/Revises policies and procedures related to Recruitment and Background Checks.
  • Maintains an in-depth knowledge of all employment laws in the jurisdictions that Vista Care operates within: Nevada, South Dakota, Illinois and Wisconsin.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.
Required Skills/Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Human Resources or a similar field required and at least five (5) to seven (7) years of prior Recruitment Experience.
  • Prior Leadership of one (1) or more employees is preferred.
  • Healthcare Recruitment Experience strongly preferred.
  • Compassionate and empathetic leader that is focused on growing and developing a team.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of talent acquisition strategies and approaches.
  • Recent experience recruiting in multiple discipline areas and levels, including hiring for nonexempt, exempt and leadership positions.
  • Experience in all areas of sourcing such as the internet, social media, networking, employee referrals, job postings, as well as conducting open houses and virtual job fairs.
  • Knowledge of Federal, state and local employment laws in all jurisdictions Vista Care operates within, with an emphasis on understanding Title VII and laws related to background checks, drug tests, and arrests/convictions.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP or equivalent preferred.
  • Self-driven individual needed with a ton of initiative and drive for continuous improvement.
  • Continuous desire to always look for improvements to the Recruitment process and willingness to develop and mentor their team and share their knowledge.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and initiatives at the same time.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer/laptop.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
