Tae Kwon Do Instructor

We are looking for a super friendly and intelligent Tae Kwon Do Instructor to maintain a positive, healthy, yet still professional relationships with repeat customers. The ideal candidate will be customer oriented, dependable, organized, detail oriented and can work successfully independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate should be able to command, inspire, and lead a group of students (children and teens/adults).

Responsibilities:

• Teach Classes
• Tracking student’s attendance (via student cards and school’s online database system)
• Assist with Retention Efforts
• Suggest Class Schedule Changes
• Making Miss You Calls, Awesome Job Calls, & Writing Good Job Cards
• Assist with Testing / Promotion of Students and Promotion Day Set up
• Assist in Day & Summer Camp Activities
• Conduct Business to Business Marketing
• Conduct Private Lessons
• Maintain Cleanliness of Facility
• Attend Weekly Staff meetings & Instructor Training Program Meetings
• Answering phone calls and making follow up phone calls to students i.e.:event phone calls, miss you phone calls, etc.
• Address Customer inquiries regarding class curriculum and testing
• Work with current customers /students to ensure all needs are met.
• Handle communication and announcements by providing information to current customers via handouts and verbal communication.
• Supplying products and equipment ordered by the students.

Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate and interact with parents/guardians and children in an effective, positive, and professional manner
• Ability to work under limited supervision
• Ability to work as a team with staff and instructors
• Clean criminal background
• Effective communication written, verbal and non-verbal and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must be willing to learn and be reliable
• Spanish speaking a plus but not required
• Experience teaching prior martial arts classes a plus but not required
• Knowledge of SPARK school management software a plus but not required
• Relevant/similar previous martial arts and customer service experience a plus but not required
• Tae Kwon Do Black Belt a plus but not required

Requirements:

• Must be available Monday through Friday 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM & Some Saturdays as needed
• Must be able to travel to on-site location
