DEPARTMENT: Quality

REPORTS TO: Quality Manager

BASIC FUNCTION: To provide direction to the Production staff in particular, as well as hourly employees to ensure that customers’ requirements are met while ensuring that the company’s efficiencies are maximized.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work Closely Under QA Manager to Develop, Implement, Train, and Maintain QMS
• Champion to Drive and Train Quality Team on RCCA, CAPA, Document Control & Management and Internal Audit Process
• Must Be Subject Matter Expert on Site for Quality & Environmental Audits
• Provide Support for QA Engineer in Improving Process of Incoming Material Quality
• Can Lead Process Document Management
• Either be a Certified Lead Auditor for IATF or Willing to Obtain Certification
• Able to Lead Problem-Solving Activities Including Whiteboard and Kaizen Activities
• Understanding of SPC and Other Core Tools of Quality
• Understanding of Control Plans and PFMEAs

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ Years of Automotive Manufacturing Experience
• Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
• Strong Leadership, Documentation and Organization Skills
• Coachable and Positive Attitude
• Prompt and Regular Attendance
• Able to Work OT on Short Notice
• Strong Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001
• APQP, PPAP and GD&T Knowledge is a Plus
• Additional Notes
• Any Experience with SAP Systems is a Plus
