Position Mission

The systems engineer will be responsible for tier 2 and 3 support for Parasol’s clients. The systems engineer will support implementation of project task work as determined by each client’s project roadmap. The engineer will also be responsible for onsite technical support as determined by client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Tier 2 and 3 support for all client tickets.
  • System design for servers, virtualization, telephony, and email environments.
  • In depth problem solving for servers and systems.
  • Responsibility for oversight of client server management.
  • Acts as engineer backup to the Director of Engineering or another Engineer as needed.
  • Project implementation task work.
  • Ticket resolution as per the client service level agreement.
  • Detailed documentation within service tickets on issue steps and resolution.
  • Excellent customer service on the phone, via email and in person.

Requirements

  • Healthcare experience preferred; long-term healthcare support experience is a plus.
  • At least five years of systems administration experience in an enterprise environment.
  • At least four years’ experience working with systems design, configuration and management.
  • Experience with multiple enterprise systems such as Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, Windows Operating Systems, file shares, printers and copiers, phone systems, Exchange, basic network desktop hardware support.
  • Proactive resolution of issues.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
