Buyer/Supply Chain Analyst

LOCATION: Loudon, TN

SCHEDULE: Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.

FUNCTION:

Supply Chain Analyst role is responsible for aligning, reviewing and proactively resolving data gaps. Maintaining continuity is a critical part of this role, starting with the flow from input at customer order to end of the flow of customer product receipt. Inbound and outbound supply of direct and indirect requirements will need to be analyzed and provided for review by the buyers and inventory teams. The Buyer portion of this role requires purchasing direct, non-commodity materials within a designated item class as required. Identifying alternative sources that could benefit the organization.

OUTCOMES:

  • Develop a plan to review all forms of data on a planned cycle.
  • Help train the supply chain team how to use data at the basic level from the findings.
  • Create dashboards for displaying data functionally.
  • Implement a vendor score card.
  • Identify at least 2 areas quarterly for cost savings for the supply chain team to target.
  • Present to the team at least 4 alternative sources opportunities each year.
  • For areas of responsibility, maintain supply/purchase requirements needed.
  • Weekly KPI data inputs and briefings with the Supply Chain Manager
  • Monthly high level data reviews with the entire Supply Chain team.
  • Manage and organize data for model year project launches and terminations.
