Job Summary and Qualifications

POSITION GOAL:

Performs those duties directly involved with the completion of all requested procedures of the imaging department. Responsible for maintaining quality and efficiency for all sections of the department. Supervises employees and their work processes. Responsible for maintaining all supplies and equipment functioning for the department.

Acts as Imaging Director in his/her absence. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and Medical Staff. Performs in the capacity of staff technologist when necessary.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• Graduate of an AMA accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Ability to perform all radiographic procedures according to established guidelines utilizing appropriate equipment.
• Registered with the ARRT (R) required in an advanced modality
• State of Florida Certified General Radiographer
• BLS certification Required.
• 2-3 Supervisor Experience
