Responsibilities
As a Superintendent with Modern Constructors (an affiliate of Hines), you will oversee an assigned Modern Constructors' project and be responsible for coordinating field personnel, subcontractors and vendors in conjunction with the Construction Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist Project Managers with budgets and schedules
- Oversee and evaluate subcontractor performance from month to month
- Monitor construction progress and compliance with plans and specifications
- Monitor punch lists and turnover of completed units to Management within schedule and quality standards required by Management
- Review project and weekly milestone schedules for each project
- Review daily activity reports for completeness and accuracy
- Provide training, guidance, and career development for subordinates
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; concentration in Building Science or Engineering is preferred
- Ten or more years of work experience as a Project Superintendent in multifamily construction; experience in Garden and Mid-Rise residential construction preferred
- Experience with Procore project management software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel is preferred
- Ability to travel is a plus
- Compensation: $130,500 - $163,100 Bonus pool 10%
