Join the Bellevue Club and Hotel team. As the premier athletic and social club on Seattle?s Eastside, the Bellevue Club is a gathering place for the Northwest?s most celebrated and visionary citizens. The Bellevue Club Recreation Department is looking to hire energetic, service-oriented individuals to work as a part-time Summer Camp Instructors. Camps run from June 26th through September 1st. Hours are Monday -Friday 8am-6pm for a minimum of 8 weeks out of our 11-week summer camps. Interview Period: Week of May 15th - 19th.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Mandatory attendance to the Staff Training prior to the start of camp (Date TBD)
  • Work under the direction of the Recreation Director, Youth Program Manager, and the Lead Camp Instructors in a wide variety of camps.
  • Participate in daily activities of the camper?s day with tons of energy and positive attitude.
  • Communicate with Lead Camp Instructor regarding questions or concerns.
  • Set a good example for campers in all areas including cleanliness, punctuality, rules, and sportsmanship.
  • Perform tasks at the request of the Recreation Director, Youth Programs Manager, and the Lead Camp Instructor
  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn and improve on leadership skills.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in a camp, teaching, or coaching environment.
  • Staff training date: TBD, Monday -Friday 8am-6pm, minimum 5 weeks our of our 10-week summer camps, Camps run (June 26th -September 1st)
