SEASONAL

Position Summary:

Provides direct supervision of a group of children in a seasonal day camp. Provides a quality experience to children and parents focused on YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.

Essential Functions:

1. Supervises a group of children.

2. Assists with lesson plans and implements program activities that are culturally relevant, developmentally appropriate and consistent with YMCA values.

3. Adheres to program standards including safety and cleanliness standards.

4. Attends staff meetings and trainings.

5. Maintains positive relations with parents and other staff. Models positive relationship-building skills in all interactions.

6. Maintains required certifications.

7. Attends staff meetings and trainings.

8. Follows all YMCA policies, rules, regulations and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures. Completes reports as necessary.

9. Other duties as assigned.
