SUD Counselor - KING CITY
Job description
Responsible for individual and group counseling for Residential treatment. Ability to conduct intake and assessments including treatment plans for individuals. Serving the special needs of program participants and individuals. Facilitate group for participants in a residential treatment program. Activities are designed to support environmental change for individual recovery in a Social Model setting using evidenced-based curriculum (Matrix).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working with adults in the alcohol and drug addictions field.
State Certification, familiar with Medi-CAL & ASAM criteria and EHR (Electronic Health Records) via AVATAR
NOTE: Employees will be required to be fingerprinted, screened for tuberculosis, vaccinated for COVID 19 & boosted, and health screened for fitness for duty.
