A leader in steel building solutions is looking to add a Professional Engineer to their growing team. This is a direct hire opportunity located in Evansville WI. The ideal candidate will have their P.E. license with at least 4 years of total engineering experience. This person will be able to design medium to high complexity buildings independently and mentor design engineers level 1 & 2. Other responsibilities include design checking and sealing low to medium complexity work as well as providing technical assistance to customers on specific projects.

This opportunity OFFERS relocation assistance and can become a hybrid role after training.

Qualifications

• Must have P.E. license
• 4 years of engineering experience
• Structural steel experience
• Knowledge of building codes and specifications
• CAD design experience

• Provides well utilized designs of members and connections for Detailing and Manufacturing that meet customer's requirements.
• Assures building's structural integrity and safety
• Develops own advanced product and procedure knowledge and improves technical knowledge
• Focuses on achieving department objective and profitability goals and continuous improvement as part of a high performance work team
• Assures customer design service needs are met by meeting design schedules
• Collaborates with project teams to discuss problems and challenges and help create solutions to move forward in a cost effective and efficient manner
• Provides technical assistance to customers on specific projects as well as to new entry level Designers
• Develops structural quotes
