How you will make an impact:

The Senior Manager of Content Execution is a member of the BioProduction Market Development team responsible for the deployment of the marketing campaigns. Will lead the development and execution of marketing, promotion, and campaigns launch plans to support the CCCT value proposition as well as the Thermo Fisher BioProduction value proposition. As the marketing leader for these portfolios, this person will facilitate alignment, effectively articulate strategy, and collaborate across functions for executional excellence is critical for this role.

What you will do:

The successful candidate will be collaborative leader and will coordinate closely with the Regional Market Development teams to develop and implement marketing plans and positioning for the Cell Culture and Cell Therapy portfolio of products and services. Additionally, this leader will partner with, Commercial leadership, Bioproduction Group (BPG) Marketing, and business management to implement integrated marketing programs designed to help achieve global demand generation and revenue growth goals. Acts as project lead and liaison to internal and outside vendors, maintaining excellent professional relationships, in order to facilitate the conversion of marketing ideas and messages into effective marketing programs leading to revenue.

Responsibilities:


  • Leads the Global Market Development content execution team, including setting up objectives, guiding implementation of campaigns, and tracking success metrics.
  • Develop marketing plans for the business unit that reinforces the GTM value proposition, including analysis of customer segments, competitor analysis, business trends, and market opportunities.
  • Create and implement appropriate marketing content that drives business results across multiple channels. Design and develop a segment-appropriate, consistent with global BioProduction communication message.
  • Recommend and drive the implementation of innovative approaches to the current plan and strategy.
  • Supports the development of customer education materials in collaboration with Marketing’s Content Development and commercial teams.
  • Coordinate with global functions to ensure consistency with brand profiles and company standards.
  • Work closely with regional market development managers to build and implement marketing programs within the regions.
  • Responsible for sales tools strategy and deployment; including but not limited to battlecards, competitor heat maps, customer segment personas.
  • Responsible for campaign development including email, web, display ad, social media and event marketing. Effectively motivates global marketing team to identify best approaches.
  • Willing to learn and take coaching from peers and supervisors, both in success and failure.
  • Travel as necessary (~25% travel globally).


How you will get here:


Education:


  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in life sciences preferred (cell, molecular and/or protein biology) or related field.


Experience:


  • Proven experience in marketing with leadership experience managing marketing teams.
  • Has thorough functional understanding of the marketing functions, planning and strategy, and in-depth knowledge of life science bioprocessing or research markets with knowledge of competitors.
  • Strong customer focus is crucial.

  • Has to be able to work cross-functionally and with a variety of business needs and expectations; familiar with matrix organizations.
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and has the ability to communicate internally and externally with different businesses and management levels.
  • Knowledge of the following key competencies: 4Ps and marketing mix, marketing communication channels, product launch, segmentation, value proposition and marketing program development and execution.
  • Experience selling to biopharma developers desired, although not required

The salary range estimated for this position is $122,000 - $186,000. This position will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $118,100.00–$177,200.00.
