Job Description: The Sr Biostatistician, is responsible for conducting biostatistical analyses to ensure results driven business needs are timely and accurately met for both internal and external customers. The Sr Biostatistician will work closely in teams with other statisticians, statistical programmers, and drug development consultants supporting a variety of client projects (therapeutic areas, data types).
Responsibilities:

• Plan, monitor, organize, and review statistical activities for Phase 1 to Phase 4 clinical trials
• Ensure individual studies are delivered on time, on budget, and with required quality.
• Conduct quality control activities on datasets and outputs
• May participate in company initiatives to improve efficiency of data management, analysis, and reporting (IT, methodology, automation, quality).
• Perform the above consistently with a very high quality and by meeting the productivity benchmarks
• Other responsibilities may be assigned by the Manager as deemed necessary by the business

Qualifications:

• M.S. or Ph.D. degree in statistics, biostatistics, or related field (required)
• 4+ years of relevant experience with M.S. OR 2+ years of relevant experience with Ph.D.
• 3 or more years of experience in a CRO or Pharmaceutical environment
• Experience leading all Phases of studies
• Demonstrated knowledge of clinical drug development.
• Proficiency in conducting advanced statistical analyses, including complex statistical modeling

Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge in applied nonparametric and parametric statistics
• Able to translate clients' needs into statistical practice and educate clients in the use of statistics
• Accuracy and sense of urgency and quality, timely delivery.
• Ability to work on multiple collaborative projects, team player mentality.
• SAS programming is a plus.
